    Shower Installation & Subfloor Repair
    Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. My experience with Michael was positive at first. He promptly visited the property, assessed the work free of charge, followed up quickly, and completed the installation as agreed. However, shortly after completion, the shower installation developed leaks. This is where the problems began. Despite providing a 12-month warranty in the contract, Michael became extremely difficult to contact. He rarely answered calls or messages, and when I did manage to reach him, he repeatedly promised to return and fix the issue but never did. Eventually, he told me to hire another contractor and assured me he would reimburse the cost. I trusted him and sent him the invoice, but he never paid and subsequently ignored all communication. While the initial service was satisfactory, the complete lack of after-sales support and failure to honor both the warranty and reimbursement commitment means I cannot recommend this company.

    Michael attended quickly and gave an immediate very competitive quote and carried out the work the next day. The issue was resolved quickly and smoothly by two very friendly guys. Very happy client and would recommend>

    Shower tray leak
    Michael recently visited my property to assess a bathroom leak and provided an excellent service from start to finish. He thoroughly investigated the issue and offered clear, practical advice on the next steps required. His guidance was particularly helpful when dealing with my insurance company. He explained the trace and access process, helped identify the source of the leak, and provided all the necessary photographs, videos, and a comprehensive report to support my insurance claim. Michael was professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the process. I would highly recommend Michael and his team to anyone requiring plumbing services, leak investigations, or assistance with insurance-related plumbing issues. Thank you for your help and expertise.

    Leak from shower behind bathroom wall – need plumber to fix source
    Unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The bathroom tiling and shower refitting work was completed, but after the job I realised the concealed shower mixer was no longer working properly. The shower now only produces either very hot or very cold water, and it is not possible to get a proper warm mixed temperature anymore. The shower was working correctly before the work was carried out. After discovering the issue, I contacted SM Maintenance multiple times by text and phone asking them to return and fix the problem. Despite several attempts to arrange this, they did not come back to resolve it. Eventually they stopped responding to my calls and messages altogether. I have now had to hire another plumber to diagnose and repair the shower system. Very frustrating experience, especially after spending a significant amount on the bathroom work.

    Leak in wall-embedded cold water feed from mains supply
    Belated review for the work undertaken at my property for a leak in a wall embedded cold water pipe, as well as, the making good of the resultant damage. The trace and access work in my experience was professionally undertaken and in good time. Michael Kent presided over the work and it was reassuring that he was on hand to advise me of what was taking place as the work went along. His crew worked efficiently and tidied after themselves at each stage of their work. My thanks also to Sam the painter/decorator for making good the damage in good time and with good humour. As this was the first serious damage to the property I have suffered and for which I had to seek funds from my insurer, I commend Michael Kent for his advise on the process, the transparency of his billing, and his part in the timely resolution to a distressing predicament.
